Since 1952, thousands of families and individuals have been impacted by receiving a Thanksgiving meal through Light of Life
Families are facing food insecurity now more than ever. This year, Light of Life will provide over 10,000 meals to individuals who would otherwise go without a Thanksgiving dinner, making this the biggest holiday outreach to date. Every Year, we assemble much-needed Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes for families and seniors in our community who might otherwise be without a holiday meal. This year, we're preparing to provide 2,100 Thanksgiving boxes that will serve 10,000 people!

Thanksgiving at Light of Life is a Pittsburgh Tradition. Since 1952, Light of Life has been serving Thanksgiving to our homeless community. This Thanksgiving, staff and volunteers at the Mission will serve over 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to Pittsburgh's homeless and hurting. If you or a loved one are in need, join us at the Mission: November 23, 2023 from 12PM-6PM, Voeghtly Street Shelter, Voeghtly Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
