Programs and Services
Since 1952, Light of Life has been serving Pittsburgh's homeless population through meal ministry, safe shelter, and life recovery programs.
EMERGENCY SERVICES
Light of Life offers emergency shelter services at our Voeghtly Street Shelter for men, women and children seeking meals, shelter, showers, access to mental health services, and more.
Homemade Meals:
- 8-9 a.m. – Breakfast
- 12 p.m. – Lunch
- 5-6 p.m. – Dinner

STREET OUTREACH SERVICES
Light of Life’s Street Outreach Team visits homeless encampments daily to check on their health and wellbeing, and provide resources and services through:
- Transportation back to Light of Life’s Emergency Shelter to access meals, shelter and showers
- Assistance in obtaining Identification cards and birth certificates, housing, employment, clothing and hygiene products
- Case Management
- Fellowship Activities
- Community Clean-Ups

OUTREACH CENTER
The Outreach Center brings several key programs under on roof, making our services more effective and impactful. The facility houses: the Donation Center, Food Pantry, Free Store and Off the Floor Pittsburgh.
