It is so difficult to see a loved one caught up in addiction and we are so sorry to hear that you are going through this difficult time. One of the hardest things about it can be that no matter how much we want someone to change and stop using drugs or alcohol, change will not come until the person is ready and makes the decision to try for him/herself.
We would be happy to talk with you about the programs we have so you have some information and resources to offer your loved one when he/she is ready. If your loved one is a woman, please call one of our case managers named Michelle at 412-258-6170. If your loved one is a man, please call Rusty at 412-803-4147. We are ready to listen to you and help in any way we can.
If the children of anyone in active addiction are in danger, please call Childline at 1-800-448-4906. They will be able to give you information regarding the care of the children you are calling about.
Please have your friend call Allegheny Link at 1-866-730-2368 so he/she can get connected to the type of program he/she needs and one that has vacancy. We are also happy to tell you more about our programs. If your friend is a woman, please call one of our case managers named Michelle at 412-258-6170. If your friend is a man, please call Rusty at 412-803-4147. There is also information about our programs on our website at www.lightoflife.org.
