You cannot be actively using drugs or alcohol while in our programs, so you must be clean or have a willingness to get clean to be considered for intake.

If you are not able to make it to Light of Life for meals, please call 412-261-6010 and they will direct you to a food bank in your area.
We provide temporary overnight storage in our facilities for our shelter guests. Every morning all shelter guests must take their personal belongings. We are not able to store personal belongings during the day time or for anyone who is not a shelter guest.
Mail is only received for men who are in one of Light of Life’s programs. We are not able to accept mail for shelter guests or visitors.
We do not have furniture to give, but here are a few Pittsburgh area organizations that may be able to help you get what you need:
Light of Life can provide items such as t-shirts, socks and underwear when they are available. Please stop by the front office located at 10 E. North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. If you have further clothing needs, please ask to speak with a street outreach team member when you come by the Mission.
We do not typically have diapers to give, so please call the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank at 412-373-3074 to get the help you need. You can get more information about the Diaper Bank at http://www.wpadiaperbank.org.
