On Friday, April 11, the Pittsburgh Pirates organization teamed up with Light of Life once again! Pirates President Frank Coonelly, former pitcher Kent Tekulve, and members of the Pirates front office transformed Light of Life's evening Meal Ministry into a delightful Tailgate Party to kick off the baseball season.

Thanks to generous area businesses, such as Silver Star Meats, all of the delicious food was donated. Mission guests were treated to hot dogs, peanuts, Cracker Jack, nachos and cheese and other picnic foods.

We are grateful to the Pirates organization for bringing joy to the community's poor and homeless.
