Volunteer Policies

All people interested in volunteering at Light of Life must participate in a Volunteer Orientation. Orientation provides vital information about our needs, services and opportunities in a friendly, informal environment. Refreshments are served.

Light of Life requires all on-site volunteers be at least 12 years of age. Children aged 12-16 years must be accompanied by an adult in a one adult to three children ratio.

You can help save and transform the lives of men, women and children in need! Volunteering at Light of Life rewards both you and those you serve.

Many volunteer opportunities are available for both individuals and groups.

  • Preparing, delivering and/or serving meals
  • Tutoring or mentoring
  • Holding your own unique fundraisers
  • Helping at Tunch & Wolf’s Walk for the Homeless
